Titless Post

I’ve been wanting to post something for some time, but didn’t know how… I mean, having a few subjects to “choose” from hasn’t make things any easier; so, to hell with it and I will write, in this post, a little about some of those things.

The World Cup

Yeah… way late but here’s one of my favorite clips (right before the US vs. England match)

Favorite Brit Shows

Since I have BBC America, I have a few new favorite shows. In general (and not including just BBC shows) I like in no particular order:

Merlin

Merlin is an amazing show… and I’m not saying this just because I like medieval stuff but because I do believe the new approach to the Arthurian legends is, besides of being different, refreshing and creative. The cast is very talented and the chemistry they have among each other is great; also, the visuals are just wonderful.

Seeing on SyFy

Doctor Who

I saw a few episodes of last season’s Doctor Who when David Tennant was The Doctor. Great show, but the 10th Doctor didn’t “connect” with me… so I really didn’t care much to miss a few episodes… HOWEVER, the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith) did connect with me and I was hooked since the first episode. I guess what also “helped” me to get hooked was his companion: Karen Gillan. She’s gorgeous!

BTW, Matt kinda reminds me of Gordon Ramsay.

Great show. The two-part season finale was effin’ sweet, and I’m really glad that Rory (Arthur Darvill), who’s now Amy’s husband, will be accompanying The Doctor as well. At least, that’s what it seems.

The Choir

What can I say… I think that what Gareth Malone does is inspiring. He’s indeed a charismatic choirmaster.

That’s it for now. I have a few other shows I’ll write about on another post. Till then, cheers!

For some reason, I haven’t been able to get into Merlin. I would think it was just my cup of tea, but somehow, not. And I’ve just seen The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, too…loved that! The other shows you picked: major yes! I’ve been wanting to take a trip in that TARDIS for the longest time! :)

Re. Merlin, maybe it’s because of the way they approached the legend, which is totally different…
