Seriously, that’s something I will never understand.
Take for instance, Fox canceled Firefly, NBC canceled My Own Worst Enemy and now, ABC canceled Defying Gravity. The sad thing, at least about these last two shows, is that the networks didn’t even let their first season end.
Defying Gravity was a really nice sci-fi show. It had, in my opinion, a nice plot which definitely made it stand out from others. A lot of people are unhappy about its cancellation.
If you haven’t heard of it, here’s a small description from Hulu:
ABC’s Defying Gravity follows eight astronauts who were handpicked for an incredible six-year journey exploring Venus and other planets in the solar system. Adventures await the crew as they quickly discover their lives and destinies to be intertwined and carefully directed, not only by Mission Control officials on Earth, but also by an unseen force which is much closer and far more powerful.
Last night was its 8th and last episode: Love, Honor, Obey. It’s sad they cut the show right where the best was starting. Hopefully they will release the remaining episodes on Hulu.
I’m surprised ABC hasn’t cancelled Castle yet… :s
*sigh*

I agree with you about all those shows! What’s the matter with the networks when intelligent, thoughtful people like us enjoy these shows?
They were just going to enter the pod in DG. Now, we’ll never know what’s in there…
Well… maybe because we’re just a few and because our numbers are small that’s why they just don’t care?
I read that in Canada they’re showing the remaining episodes. Thanks to Google, I managed to find a couple of sites where you can watch those episodes online… and I already saw what’s inside the pod
