Can you imagine yourself driving on the PCH (or on another highway/street of your preference), letting the breeze blow your hair and allowing your thoughts fly away while listening to some cool upbeat songs, something like they “do” in the movies? I have. Yeah, I know… silly, but who cares?

Last weekend, when I went mountain biking with my pals, I put together a list of songs and burned them onto a CD so I wouldn’t get bored on my way there (the park is like 45 minutes away from where I live).

Here’s my “soundtrack”:

Porcelain may not be that “upbeat” but I just love that song… for some reason, it reminds me when I was in Russia…

    I might borrow this playlist.I hate driving and I’m moving by the end of the month (yay me!) and have to drive about 500 miles to get there. Music all the way!

    Funny you mentioned the PCH. Once when I visiting CA I was driving on Ventura Hiway on a perfect, sunny, warm spring day. And what came on the radio? Yep, Ventura Hiway. I sang it at the top of my lungs and didn’t care who thought I was nuts.

    Yeah, the PCH is really nice to drive on. Past Malibu, you get to some strawberry farms and the view is just amazing.

    500 miles is a long way… drive safely, okay? and if you want the songs in my playlist, by all means, let me know and I’ll make a zip file for you to download.
