…I were to set up a forum that would replace the Off Topic one at wordpress.com where you could promote your latest blog posts, vent, share your CSS code for Sandbox… basically what you do there and more, would you sign up and use it?
It just occurred to me and thought of asking you guys what you think. It would be a separate community that would allow you to promote your blog whether you stay at wp.com or move it to your own server.
True, you could do the same thing at the Off Topic forum; I’m just offering an alternative.
I don’t believe in having ads on a site, so the forum wouldn’t have any.
Think about it, and by all means, don’t be shy to share your thoughts.

I’d love that. I keep lurking round the wp.com forum, but there are so many penguins and others on there these days..

I’d participate! the wp forums has changed a great deal from when i used to have a blog at wp.com, and I’ve been looking for a wp forum for self hosted blogs.

Oh of course! Also, it could be shown to those who don’t behave properly… or not.
The penguins, the penguins… AFAIK, those are kids who belong to something called Club Penguin where they play games and stuff. They use their wp.com blogs to exchange cheats and other kinda stuff, and some -if not most- of them are quite obnoxious.
Please someone correct me if I’m mistaken.
