Okay, as I said to Brightfeather on her Online Music Clubs post, I’m putting together one playlist, per every music genre I like (or most of ‘em), containing some of my favorite songs.
This playlist is of Russian Music. If the songs don’t start playing right away, please be patient; the server where I’m hosting the files, might be busy.
Why do I listen to songs that I don’t understand? Well, like I told her, just because I don’t understand what they say, it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t listen to and enjoy what I consider good music.
Note: I translated the song titles using an online translator, so they might not be that accurate.

Hi there,
Thanks so much for participating and for the link love. I’ll be interested to hear your playlist selections.
Sure thing.
Have you had the chance to listen to this one yet?
I listened to 2 tunes in Russian. I liked them.
Mostly I’ve been building a playlist at lastfm and building a small group of friends. ella, roads, adam, kimik0, alabaster and I have been tuned into each other’s playlists and are sampling each other’s music. As I listen to such a broad range of music I’ve been having a blast. I’m like a kid in a candy store right now. ;-D
And I’ve been sampling my friends’ lists at lastfm too — hi, brightfeather!
Interesting stuff you’ve got on your list, Juan. I don’t think there’s anything unusual about listening to music in a language I don’t understand. People have enjoyed opera that way for centuries.
Fun post!
Thanks much, Ella!
I still need to put together other playlists and post them here. I have a lot of good music that I think you guys might like.
This is so true. Just because you don’t understand the lyrics, it doesn’t mean that that should prevent your from enjoying a good song.
Best!
